Jamaica, NY – The City College of New York men's soccer team's remarkable postseason run came to a close on Saturday afternoon, as the Beavers fell 1–0 to Lehman College in the 2025 CUNYAC Championship match.
After a tightly contested first half, both sides continued to battle in a defensive stalemate until the 80th minute. Lehman's Munem Alhassan broke through with the game's lone goal at the 79:53 mark, assisted by Adam Kowalski, to give the Lightning the decisive edge.
Despite the setback, CCNY showed resilience throughout the match, creating several scoring opportunities. Sophomore
Konstantinos Psomaras led the Beavers' attack with three shots, including two on goal, while freshman
Yair Roman and sophomore
Fausto Rodriguez each added key attempts to keep pressure on the Lehman defense.
In goal, senior

With the result, CCNY concludes its 2025 campaign after an impressive postseason that saw the team reach the conference title match for the first time since 2015.
