New York, NY - The City College of New York Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation is proud to announce the appointment of
Isaiah Jackson-Bentley as Assistant Director of Recreation, Intramural Sports, and Facility Operations.
In his role at CCNY, Isaiah will oversee campus fitness, recreation, and intramural sports programming for the entire CCNY campus community, while supporting facility operations to promote inclusive, high-quality wellness experiences and ensure the safe and efficient use of campus spaces. He is driven to create impactful athletic and recreational opportunities that strengthen community, support student engagement, and advance organizational excellence.
Jackson-Bentley is an experienced leader in athletic administration and recreation management with extensive experience overseeing facility operations, staff supervision, and program development. He has directed large-scale recreation programs and athletic facilities across multiple states, improving operational outcomes through strong leadership, strategic planning, and community partnership building.
Prior to joining CCNY, Isaiah served as Program Director at the Montefiore Mosholu Community Center in the Bronx, where he managed daily operations, budgeting, payroll, compliance, and staff supervision while enhancing program quality and community engagement. His professional background also includes roles in athletic coordination, intramural sports administration, and facility operations at NW Sports Hub, Round Rock Sports Center, Bellevue Club, and Central Washington University Athletics.
Isaiah holds dual bachelor's degrees in Sports Management and Recreation Management from Central Washington University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Athletic Administration, with academic concentrations in risk management, budgeting, and marketing.
