New York, NY - The City College of New York men's volleyball team hosted their first home match of the 2025 season at the Nat Holman Gymnasium, falling to Purchase College in straight sets.

The loss drops the Beavers to 0-6 on the season.

Senior Reng Chen had six kills and two digs. Sophomore Brandon Green finished with five kills. Freshman Nana Boateng totaled five kills, three digs, and two assists, while Alex Abraham had three kills. Sophomore Kyrylo Vysotskyy picked 17 assists and six digs. Freshman Alex Ma tallied six digs.

Next, the Beavers return to competition on Thursday, February 13, on the road against Yeshiva University at 7:00 p.m.
