Bronx, NY — The City College of New York women's basketball team saw its 2025–26 season come to an end on Saturday afternoon, falling 94–55 to No. 3-seeded Lehman College in the CUNYAC First Round at The APEX.
CCNY (6–18, 4–10 CUNYAC) struggled to keep pace against a balanced Lehman squad, trailing 25–11 after the first quarter and never closing the gap. The Beavers shot 48.1% from the field, including 46.4% from three-point range, while CCNY converted just 29.6% of its attempts.
Senior Joscelyn Ramos led the Beavers with 12 points, while junior Ashley Colon added 12 points of her own. Freshma Blessings Joseph-Pascall posted 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and sophmore Ashley Subervi chipped in 11 points with 12 rebounds. Sophmore Amanda Fisher also contributed a double-double, finishing with 4 points and 12 rebounds.
Lehman was led by Heaven Figueroa's 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting, complemented by Sage Fanelli and Isabela Araujo, who each scored 15 points. Nelson Asamoah added 12 points and seven rebounds, helping Lehman dominate in the paint (42 points) and on the fast break (26 points).
The Beavers close the 2025-26 season with 6-18 overall record, thier best finaish since 2018-19.
