ANNANDALE, N.Y. — The City College of New York men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2026 season Monday evening, falling to Bard College, 3-0, at the Lorenzo Ferrari Soccer & Lacrosse Complex.
Bard opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Henry Skeltis found the back of the net off an assist from Mikhail O'Garro, giving the Raptors a 1-0 advantage.
The Beavers entered halftime trailing by one before Bard added two goals early in the second half. Brandon Alchy converted a penalty kick just 47 seconds into the second period to make it 2-0, while Devon Green scored in the 50th minute off an assist from Luca Costanzo to extend Bard's lead to 3-0.
CCNY goalkeeper Axel Vazquez kept the Beavers within striking distance throughout the contest, making six saves on nine shots on goal.
The Beavers were limited to two shots on the evening, both coming from Bryant Tenesaca and Alexis Penaranda. Bard finished with 18 shots, including nine on target.
Despite the result, CCNY remains off to a strong start to the 2026 campaign at 1-1-2 through its first four matches.
