NEW YORK, N.Y. — The City College of New York women's soccer team dropped its second contest of the 2026 season Sunday morning, falling to Kean University, 8-0, at Frederick Douglass Field.
Despite the offensive pressure from Kean, CCNY goalkeeper Jade Salas made five saves during the opening 45 minutes. Elsa Gashi recorded another five saves after taking over in goal for the second half, giving the Beavers 10 saves as a team.
CCNY generated five shots on the afternoon, with all five finding their way on target. Josoniah Terry led the Beavers with three shots, all on goal, while Zherlyn Valdez and Dianne Guncay each recorded one shot on target.
Marjorie Placensia, Larisa Hodzic, Sara Rodriguez and Dianne Guncay each played all 90 minutes for CCNY.
The Beavers fall to 0-2-0 on the season and will look to regroup in their next contest.
