Jonathan Zaskorski joins the City College of New York Ice Hockey team as Head Coach for the upcoming season. A former goaltender for the Beavers, Jon has been a key figure in the team’s recent revival, contributing as a player during the 2019 and 2023 seasons and now stepping into a leadership role.

A graduate of The South Kent School in Kent, Connecticut, Jon played high school hockey at an elite level before advancing to NCAA Division III competition at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Internationally, Jon played for the University of London Men’s Hockey Team in the UK, bringing a global perspective to his game. Jon concluded his playing career at CCNY, where they found a passion for contributing to the program’s growth.

As head coach, Jon is excited to collaborate with alumni, college leadership, and the student-athletes to enrich the legacy of CCNY Ice Hockey. The team’s rich history inspires a vision of excellence and opportunity, fostering an environment where players can challenge themselves athletically and personally.

This season marks a pivotal moment in the program’s journey, and Jon is honored to lead CCNY Ice Hockey into its next chapter of success.
