Brett Wilson joined the CCNY men's basketball coaching staff prior to the 2014-2015 season.
Coach Wilson brings a wealth of experience to the Beavers, helping young players develop their basketball potential. Wilson is the CEO and Owner of Brett Wilson Sports, a high school scouting company helping high school athletes become college recruits. Coach Wilson is a native New Yorker, and his experience includes working as head coach of the Silver Bullets AAU Organization in New York form 1999 to 2002, assistant head coach of the Our Savior New American Team of Long Island, New York, and head JV coach from 2002 to 2005, and head coach of the prep team of Mt. Zion Academy in North Carlina 2005 to 2008. From 2007 to 2008, Coach Wilson was the owner and President of First In Flight Basketball Training in North Carolina. From there, he joined University Scouts as a National Scouting Director from 2010 to 2012, and has run BW Sports ever since.
Over the course of his career, Coach Wilson has helped more than 50 players earn Division I scholarships, and over 100 of his players have received scholarships between the Division I, II and Juco level. Coach Wilson continues to help high school athletes and maintain his relationship with college coaches.
