Kennard Robinson

Kennard Robinson will also be manning the bench this year. He attended Long Island Lutheran High School before making his way to the University of Massachusetts. There, he played under Head Coach John Calipari and averaged 15 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks per contest. In 1991, he helped his team reach the final four of the NIT Tournament. In 1992, UMass made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, and in 1993, he helped the team reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament. His four-year stint there saw UMass win two consecutive Atlantic 10 crowns. Following his college career, he played basketball in six different countries, including Indonesia (1994), Taiwan (1995), Greece (1997), Slovaki (1997), China (1998), and Poland (1999), where he continued to impress on the court, putting up big scoring and rebounding numbers. Last season, he served an assistant coach to former CCNY Head Coach Andy Stampfel.
