Don Manfria has been the head coach of the City College of New York women's soccer team since the 2009 season,  and has been the equipment manager and concessions supervisor at CCNY since the 2012-13 year.

Manfria, who has been a mainstay atop the City University of New York Athletic Conference leaderboards since his arrival, earned his first ever CUNYAC Coach of the Year honors after a record setting 2012 season that saw the Beavers set new school records in wins, goals, shutouts and assists. The 2012 CCNY team earned the first ever NCAA automatic bid in CUNYAC history, competing in the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament.

In just four seasons at the helm, Manfria's squad has won the CUNYAC Championships twice (2009 and 2012), including his first season as head coach back in 2009. The New Jersey native brought over 20 years of coaching expierence and knowledge to CCNY. A former soccer standout at Nutley High School, Coach Manfria is also a graduate of Bloomfield College, where he was a key member of the varsity soccer team for four years. He was team captain for three years, and was inducted into the Bloomfield College Athletic Hall of Fame. His playing career cut short due to a knee injury while playing for the Atlanta Chiefs of the NASL, Coach Manfria then went on to begin his coaching career.

Prior to joining CCNY, Manfria won back-to-back New Jersey State Sectional Championships with the North Arlington High School Boys Soccer Team. ?Manfria coached women's basketball at Bloomfield College, leading the team to a 212-132 record and five consecutive 20 win seasons, reaching the NAIA Tournament twice. A two time BCSL Coach of the Year and NAIA Coach of the Year while coaching at his alma mater, he is the owner and director of coaching for Fiorentina Soccer Training which specializes in training of both men and women of all ages in the North New Jersey area (since 1990). 


He is also president of the Meadowlands United Soccer Club.
