Beaver broke her own record in the women's shot put not once but twice this past week. On Friday at the Penn Relays, Beaver was the sole CCNY representative in the field events, throwing for a distance of 12.02 meters and setting a new record for the second consecutive week. Then on Sunday at the Brick City Classic, Beaver threw a distance of 12.74 meters to win the event. Beaver also won the discus with a mark of 36.85 meters. Both distances were records for the meet. Finally, Beaver had a distance of 35.89 meters in the hammer throw and 20.51 in the javelin.
