Reuben Angeles threw two complete game victories for the Beavers (10-10, 3-1 CUNYAC) last week, with nine-inning wins over Baruch and Lehman where he struck out 26 batters (15 against Lehman). The 6’0” right-hander by way of New York, NY, gave up 13 hits and seven free passes, but yielded only seven runs (six earned) in the two starts. On the season, he sports a 3.82 ERA and 10.3 strikeouts per nine innings, as second place CCNY looks to tackle first place Staten Island this weekend in Conference action. The Junior was awarded the CUNYAC Player of the Week Awards for the week of April 12, 2010.
