New York, NY - The City College of New York's men's soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over CUNYAC opponent John Jay College on Saturday night to extend their record to 7-7-1 overall and 5-1-1 in conference play.
The lone goal of the contest came in the 77th minute, from Mustafa Camara (So./ Serrekunda, Gambia). Camara netted the game winning shot for his first goal of the season.
Goalkepper Marcus Depompeis made the start in goal for Beavers and made one save.
With the win the team now sits in third place in the CUNYAC standings.
The City College of New York men's soccer will return to action on Wednesday, October 19, in a final regular season match-up against Brooklyn College.
