Match One
City fought hard against the conference-leading Hunter Hawks. In set one, Hunter would take a quick advantage, but this would not deter the Beavers. CCNY continued to chip away at the lead, but was unable to stop the Hawks as they took the first set 25-12.

The second set was similar to the first as Hunter took control early. It would be a slow start for City, but they would keep themselves in the set. The Hawks took control and would not let City make any type of lead. Hunter took the second set 25-11.

In the third set, City would start off with a back-and-forth with the Hawks. Hunter took the lead, but City was right behind them chipping away. CCNY fought hard in the third set to take control away from the Hawks, but they were unable to stop them as they took the third set and match 25-17.

Sebastjano Aga led the Beavers with eight kills and nine digs. Oleksandr Boychuk recorded 12 assists for City. David Cham and Aga played a huge role for the Beavers blocking. Cham had one solo and four block assists, while Aga recorded three block assists.

Match Two
CCNY started the first set off quickly taking the lead. It would be a hard fought battle as Brooklyn would keep it close. City would continue to dominate and took the first set 25-17.

The start of the second set was an exchange of points back-and-forth between both teams. CCNY took the lead, but the Bulldogs was close behind. City would remain in control as they fought for a victory. City took the second set 25-18.

As with the first two sets, both teams fought hard to begin the third set. However, this time around it would be Brooklyn that took the advantage. City continued to fight as they searched for a three-set victory, but the Bulldogs would not give up. Brooklyn took the third set 25-17.

With one set still holding them away from victory, City dug deep and came out strong. Neither team would falter to begin as they both looked for a precious conference victory. CCNY took the lead and never gave up. City took the fourth set and match with a 25-18 victory.

Aga led the Beavers with 41 kills, while David Cham added 20 and Holzmacher recorded 17. Six CCNY players tallied double-digit digs with Cuong Quoc Tran leading with 18. Oleksandr Boychuck dished out 45 assists in the victory.
