New York, NY – The City College of New York men's basketball team dropped a Tuesday night showdown against conference rival Baruch College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium, 72-54.

Senior Salvatore Palazzolo posted a season-high 14 points and eight rebounds, knocking down three-of-four from beyond the arc. Junior James White netted six points, four assists and two steals. Junior Wils Jazilek added six points. 
 
Baruch was led by two players scoring in double-figures. Bryler Paige had a game-high 18 points and William Sixsmith added 16 points, 

The Bearcats outshot CCNY 48.0% - 36.2% from the field in the game and held a 13-21 advantage in the turnover margin.  

CCNY plays its final contest of its three-game conference swing on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the College of Staten Island, in a rematch of last year's conference championship game. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
