NEW YORK, NY - The City College men's volleyball team dropped a four-set decision to Baruch College in conference action at Nat Holman Gymnasium Tuesday evening. The Beavers fell in the first set 25-23 and dropped a close second 25-21. The Beavers took the third set 25-23 before falling fourth set 25-12.
Sophomore Sebastjano Aga was responsible for 18.0 points, ending with a game high 16 kills, along with eight digs. Freshmen Carlos Maldonado Madrid posted seven kills, while David Cham had six. Senior Oleksandr Boychuk registered a game-high 23 assists and six digs.
For Baruch, Jacob Rudin posted 10 kills, while Samuel Rabidoux and Nicholas Godino each finished with eight. Stephen Roach had 17 assists and Kryiakos Semertzidis had seven digs to lead the home team.
After a week off, CCNY takes on Albertus Magnus College on the road next Tuesday (Mar. 7) in New Haven, CT.
