Brooklyn, N.Y. - The City College of New York baseball team fell to New York University 16-4 in non-conference action at MCU Park.

Junior Anthony Cacchione was 3-for-3 with a run scored in the game. Freshmen Stephen Peters had a one-run triple to right field in the third inning. In the sixth inning, sophomore Eric Giglio drove in a run with single to center field and sophomore Rob Mandich doubled down the left line to plate the teams final run.

Junior RHP Christian Barletta took the loss, tossing the first four innings of the contest.

Looking ahead, the Beavers return to the road on Saturday for a doubleheader against The United States Merchant Marine Academy. First pitch is slated for 12 pm.
