New York, NY - The CCNY women's volleyball team fell to the College of Mount Saint Vincent in three sets on Tuesday evening at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. The Dolphins took the match 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.
Freshman
Yana Shaposhnikova posted eight kills and nine digs to lead the Beavers. Rookie
Melanie Torres had four kills, while junior
Yasmine Bachtarzi finished with three kills. Freshman setter
Dzeneta Harambasic ended with 13 assists.
The Dolphins was led by 11 kills from Dez Brown, 16 assists from Nicole Henderson and 10 digs from Sayde McDermott.
The Beavers are back in action Saturday morning in Purchase, NY for a 10:00 am match against the Panthers of Purchase College.
