NEW YORK, NY - The CCNY women's volleyball team fell in three sets to the College of New Rochelle in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
Yana Shaposhnikova posted a team-high four kills, along with five digs. Junior
Camila Franco-Diaz notched eight digs and two kills, while freshman
Dzeneta Harambasic had seven assists in the loss.
New Rochelle combined for 29 kills and a .350 team hitting percentage in the contest, while Melanie Lopez Soto had a match-high 25 digs in the win.
The Beavers return to action this Saturday (Sept. 30) in a Tri-Match hosted by Bard College. CCNY faces the Raptors in the first match of the day and plays the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in their second match.
