NEW YORK, NY - The CCNY men's basketball team fell to Brooklyn College 69-59 in CUNY Athletic Conference play at the Nat Holman Gymnasium Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs led by as many as 18 points late in the first half.
The Beavers cut the lead down to four late in the second frame (57-53) following junior
James White's three-pointer with 5:32 to play.
With just under five minutes to play, the Bulldogs rallied off defensive stops and closed the game on a 13-to-6 scoring run, to earn a 69-59 victory.
Senior
Salvatore Palazzolo added 15 points and four assists in 38 minutes. White recorded 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc, with four assists and two steals. Senior
Brendan Hauser chipped in 13 points, eight rebounds and two assists off the bench.
Brooklyn was led by freshman Alpha Bahs' 18 points and 14 rebounds. Ben Batash added 18 points, while Maynard Grant IV had 12 points in the win.
The Beavers host Medgar Evers College in their next contest on Thrusday. The Beavers and Cougars square off at the Nat Holman Gymnasium at 7:00 pm.
