New York, NY – The CCNY women's volleyball team fell in five suffered a home loss on Tuesday night, dropping a five-set nailbiter to New Jersey City University, 25-19, 25-16, 19-25, 24-26, 17-15 at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.

Kayla Oge recorded a career-high six blocks and nine kills. Sophomore
Dzeneta Harambasic racked up 26 assists and six digs.
Freshman
Nadia Campoverde had a season-high 14 kills, along with six digs. Junior
Nicole Polanco finished with a match-high 25 digs and four kills.
Sophomore
Rachel Ramirez added a team-high three aces, while freshmen
Oanh Han notched two.
NJCU was led by 13 kills from sophomore Pamela Florimon and Shaylah Ware's 43 assists.
The Beavers return to action on the road against Medgar Evers College in a non-conference match on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 7:00 p.m.
