Purchase, NY - On Monday, the CCNY women's basketball took down Purchase College, 64-57 behind strong performances from Emily Arias, Ashley Brooks, and Crystal Blair.

Arias paced the scoring for the Beavers with a career-high 23 points, including a hitting seven trifectas from beyond the arc. Brooks registered her third double-double of the season, tallying 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting and 4-for-4 from free throw line while recording a game-high 11 rebounds. Blair totaled her second straight double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Debra Chan scored five points, pulled down seven rebounds, and earned three steals, while Mara Poch contributed five rebounds and two assists.

Defensively, the Beavers forced the Panthers to commit 19 turnovers, leading to 12 points. CCNY held the rebounding advantage, holding a 43-to-37 advantage on the boards, leading to 12 second chance points.

With tonight's win, CCNY moves to 3-2 overall. CCNY returns home to the Nat Holman Gymnasium for their conference opener against the College of Staten Island on Friday evening. Tip-off between the Beavers and Dolphins set for 7:00 p.m.
