The Bronx, NY - On Tuesday, the CCNY men's basketball started off the 2018-19 season with an exhibition game against Fordham University, falling to the Rams 106-58. The Beavers were led by junior
Ty-Ler Banks, who poured in a game-high 30 points.
Banks' game-high 30 points came on 13-of-15 shooting from the field, while also collecting six rebounds in his season debut for the Beavers. Senior
Wils Jazilek added seven points, while
Mike White had six points and four assists and
Romello Rashad chipped in with four points, six rebounds, and five assists.
Fordham finished with three players scoring in double figures and were paced by Ty Perry's 22 points and 18 points from Nick Honor.
The CCNY men's basketball team will next be in action on Saturday in their regular-season opener against Maritime College in Throggs Neck, NY.
