New York, N.Y. - The City College of New York women's basketball fourth-quarter comeback fell short at home against Yeshiva, 63-56, Sunday evening at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
Trailing 50-37 at the end of the third quarter, the Beavers used a 15-2 run to tie the game at 52-52 with 2:11 remaining in regulations.
The Maccabees answered back, outscoring CCNY 11-to-4 in the final two minutes of the game, with nine of their points coming from the free throw line.

Ashley Brooks led the Beavers with her seventh double-double of the season, finishing with 10 points and 20 rebounds, along with three assist and three steals. Brooks is currently tied for seventh in the NCAA in double-doubles this season.

Debra Chan had a team-high 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Sophomore
Crystal Blair scored seven points and pulled down nine rebounds.
Imani Butts netted eight points three rebounds.
Yeshiva had three scorers in double-digits led by Nicole Bick game-high 25 points. Tehilla Teigman added 12 points while Michal Alge scored 11 points.
The Beavers return to action on Thursday, Jan. 3, when they travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. to take on Medgar Evers College.
