NEW YORK, NY – The City College of New York men's volleyball team dropped a CUNY Athletic Conference match Thursday evening with a straight-set loss to Brooklyn College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs won the match with set scores of 25-21, 25-13 and 25-21.
The Beavers now moved to 10-6 overall and 2-4 in league play.
Freshman
Abdullah Khalid and sophomore
Carlos Maldonado Madrid led the Beavers with eight kills apiece. Senior
David Cham added 10 digs to go with three kills while sophomore
Seth Diaz had a season-high seven kills and two blocks. Rookie
Hei Chun Chan contributed a match-high 26 assists.
CCNYs' next home match and Senior Night is this Tuesday, Mar. 27, when the team hosts Medgar Evers College. First serve of the Beavers' season home finale is scheduled for 7 p.m.
