BROOKLYN, NY - The CCNY men's volleyball team picked up its ninth victory of the season with a three-set win over Medgar Evers in a non-league match on Thursday.

CCNY took the match with set scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-20.

Sophomore Carlos Maldonado Madrid had 8.5 points with six kills, eight digs, and an assisted block. Junior David Cham chipped in a match-high 22 digs and five kills. Freshman Abdullah Khalid added five kills, along with three assisted blocks.

Sophomore Seth Diaz picked up four kills in the win, while Andres Ramirez had a match-high 12 assists and Javier Lazo finished with three kills and six digs.

The Beavers are in action Saturday in a conference multi-match hosted at York College. CCNY takes on York at 12:00 pm and Hunter at 4:00 pm.
