Newburgh, N.Y. - The CCNY women's volleyball program fell in straight sets to Mount Saint Mary College in a non-conference match Tuesday evening.
The Knights narrowly defeated CCNY in all three sets 25-20, 25-18, and 26-24.
Junior
Kayla Oge recorded a team-high six kills and three blocks. Junior
Cha-Neice Gordon and sophomore
Melanie Torres each posted five kills. Gordon also had a match-high 11 digs.
Sophomore
Rachel Ramirez finished three blocks and three kills. Classmate
Dzeneta Harambasic had her fifth double-digit assist effort of the season with a match-high 19.
The Beavers return to conference play on Thursday (Sept. 13) when they host Brooklyn College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
