New York, N.Y. – In their third straight road match, the CCNY women's soccer team picked up a non-conference victory Wednesday night, beating the St. Joseph College-Brooklyn Bears, 4-1.
The Beavers first points came from an own goal in the 17
th minute of play after the Bears' defense failed clearing attempt after a corner kick deflected off of a defender and back into the net.

Gabrielle Duchaussee scored her third goal of the season on an assisted setup from junior
Daniela Grisales-Agudelo
Rebecca De Rosa netted the Beavers lone goal, burying a shot at the 33:22 mark.
At the conclusion of the first half, CCNY held a 5-2 corner kick advantage, while both teams were tied with five shots each.
Freshman
Ingrid Rosario nailed her third goal of the season to put the Lavender & Black up 3-1. Grisales-Agudelo got her second assist of the game on the play, hooking up with Rosario for the second time this season.
With eight minutes remaining in the match, Grisales-Agudelo added an insurance goal with a strike from 15 yards out.
In her first start, sophomore
Gabrielle Cillibrasi made seven stops in goal for the Beavers, allowing one goal.
The Beavers head back on the road this weekend with a non-conference match on Saturday, Sept. 8 against Maritime College.
