New York, N.Y. – The City College of New York women's basketball team was defeated by Hunter College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium on Wednesday evening, 76-40.
Sophomore
Crystal Blair collected her sixth double-double of the season in the contest. She finished with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Junior
Elizabeth Zullo posted 10 points in the game, going 3-for-4 from deep. Senior
Debra Chan added nine points, hitting a flawless three-of-three from beyond the arc.
Hunter had four players in double figures led by Jade Aponte's game-high of 18 points. Phoebe Valenton posted 16 points, Ashley Arias had 14 points, and Janine Conway ended with 12 for the Hawks.
The program's next game is this Friday on the road against conference opponent Brooklyn College at 5:00 p.m. in Brooklyn, NY.
