New York, NY - The CCNY men's volleyball program fell in straight sets to Baruch College in CUNY Athletic Conference action on Tuesday.
The Beavers fall to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in league play.
Baruch used a 15-3 run to capture the first set, 25-13. The Bearcats handed CCNY a 25-19 set lost in the second before wrapping up the match in the third set with a 25-15 victory.
Freshman
Xhulio Myftari recorded a team-high 12 kills for his eighth double-digit kill effort of the season. He also had four digs and two blocks. Sophomore
Hei Chun Chan accounted for 20 assists.
Junior
Carlos Maldonado Madrid finished with seven kills and three digs. Sophomore
Elijah Parks and junior
Seth Diaz each had three kills while
Abdullah Khalid ended with two blocks.
CCNY returns to their home floor on Thursday evening hosting Yeshiva University at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
