Men’s Soccer Falls on the Road at Rutgers-Newark

Newark, NJ -  The City College of New York men's soccer team fell to the Rutgers-Newark Raiders on Monday evening, 9-0. The Beavers drop to 3-4 overall.

Sophomores Amadou Barry, Ishmael Quansah, and freshman Roberth Inga had a pair of shots to lead the Beavers in the contest. 

Freshman Roger Saquipay started in goal for CCNY, making five saves in 27:50 of action. Freshman Mikhael Torres finished the match, stopping three shots. 

The Raiders outshot the Beavers in the contest 29-11, connecting 18 shots on goal compared to CCNY's three. 

CCNY resumes CUNY Athletic Conference action against Baruch College on Wednesday, Oct. 13. Game time is slated for 5:00 p.m. at Randall's Island-Field 70.
