Farmingdale, NY - The CCNY women's volleyball team fell short against Old Westbury in a non-conference match on Friday, falling in three sets (25-20, 25-23, 25-16). With the loss, the Bloodhounds fall to 3-12 on the season.
Freshman Natalia Abreu paced the Beavers with nine kills, seven digs, and two aces in the match. Freshman Bianka Catral finishes with seven kills and the aces. Freshman Viviana Alatorre had a team-high 15 assist digs, along with seven digs, while classmate Jafriesy Ovalle added a team-high eight digs.
The Beavers return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 26, for their regular-season finale against Brooklyn College on the road at 6:30 p.m.
