The Bronx, NY - In its first game of the New Year, the CCNY women's basketball team suffered its first loss in CUNY Athletic Conference action, falling at Lehman College, 65-26, Monday evening. The Beavers fall to 0-5 on the year, and 0-1 in league play with the loss.

Freshman Leondra Craig scored a season-high 13 points, connecting on a season-high season four three-pointers, and pulled down three rebounds. Freshman Fatoumata Nantoume finished with eight points and season-high totals of ten rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Freshman Theresa Luna chipped in a season-high of five points and two assists, along with three rebounds.

Freshman Charlotte Foberg added a team-high 13 rebounds, while classmate Tyishia Knowles grabbed a season-high four rebounds.

The Beavers will look to bounce back when they next play on Friday, Jan. 14, hosting York College at the Nat Holman Gymnasium at 5:00 p.m.
