Brooklyn, NY - The City College of New York women's Soccer team collected their shutout of the season on Wednesday evening, defeating the Brooklyn College Bulldogs, 5-0, on the road. The win lifts the Beavers to 6-1-1 overall and 2-0 in CUNY Athletic Conference play.

Skylar Parker opened the scoring for the Beavers in the fifth minute. Sophomore
Laura Villatoro netted the second goal of the day and her seventh of the year for the Beavers in the sixth minute.
In the second, Sophomore
MacKenzie Moreno put CCNY ahead 3-0 with a maker in the 50th minute. Parker tallied her second maker of the game and 17th of the season at the 52:08 mark. Moreno closed out the scoring for the Beavers in the 56th minute, leading the Beavers to a 5-0 victory.
In goal, freshman
Amelia Cataldo made one save in net and improves to 5-1-1.
Next, the Beavers take on York College on Saturday, October 15, at Aviator Sports Complex at 4:30 p.m.
