Brooklyn, NY - The City College of New York women's volleyball team snapped their four-game sild on Tuesday evening, defeating Medgar Evers College in straight sets in non-conference play. The Beavers improve to 10-5 overall.
The Beavers controlled the pace from start to finish, taking the match with scores of 25-11, 25-10, and 25-2.
Sophomore
Bianka Catral finished with a match-high nine kills, three aces, and two digs. Sophomore
Arianna Rivas ended the night with seven kills and seven digs. Freshman
Aubrey Jones dished out a match-high 25 assists, her tenth 20+ assists output of the season.
Sophomore
Viviana Alatorre notched seven service aces and seven digs. Senior
Nadia Campoverde added four kills and three digs, while
Serena Warner had four kills.
The Beavers are back on the road on Friday, Oct. 14, to take on Centenary University.
