Brooklyn, NY - The City College of New York women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match on Wednesday, falling to Pratt Institute on the road in four sets (25-22, 16-25, 14-25, and 16-25). With the loss, the Beavers drop to 10-8 on the season.
Freshman
Fatimah Coppin led the Beavers with a season-high 11 kills and two digs. Sophomore
Bianka Catral added seven kills and seven digs. Freshman
Aubrey Jones picked up her sixth double-double of the season, dishing out 19 assists and 11 digs.
Sophomore
Viviana Alatorre finished with a team-high 14 digs, while sophomore
Arianna Rivas tallied five kills and ten digs. Sophomore
Michelle Fernandez added seven digs, while
Nadia Campoverde and
Rachael Reyes each had five digs apiece.
Next, the Beavers close out the regular season at home on Tuesday, Oct. 25, against Brooklyn College.
