Madison, NJ - The City College of New York women's basketball team earned an impressive victory on Monday night, defeating FDU-Florham on the road, 59-44. The Beavers improve to 2-3 on the season.
Four players in double-figures powered the Beavers. The Beaver's defense forced a season-high 33 turnovers and 16 steals.
Freshman
Anna Vikatos led the Beavers with an all-around performance of 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists, seven blocks, and four steals. Sophomore
Leondra Craig finished with a season of 12 points and five rebounds.
Junior
Monae Laing posted her third double-double of the season with 11 points and a season-high 17 rebounds, along with three assists and five steals. Sophomore
Kasia Morrison finished the night with 10 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Joscelyn Ramos added four points and two steals. Sophomore
Fatoumata Nantoume had three points, while
Noemy Santana had two points and two rebounds.
