New York, NY – The City College of New York men's volleyball team wrapped up the home portion of their schedule with a three-set sweep (25-18, 25-14, 25-18) over the Brooklyn College Bulldogs.
Before the match, Head Coach Andrijana Todorovic and Interim Director of Athletics Steve Macias honored the program's senior class members Tenzin Tsepak, Rahul Sharma, and Xhulio Myftari.
Xhulio Myftari recorded a match-high 17 kills and 18 points. Freshman Utpal Chand finished the afternoon with nine kills and ten digs. Senior Rahul Sharma had three kills, ten digs, and a pair of blocks.
Freshman Jeffrey Celis dished a match-high 29 assists. Senior Tenzin Tsepak finished with four kills and two blocks, while Mohamed Elshary had five blocks and Edwin Fierros Gaytan had five digs.
Next, the Beavers return to court on Tuesday, Mar. 29, with a conference at York College.
