Jamaica, NY - The City College of New York men's volleyball team secured a 3-0 road sweep over York College Thursday evening in CUNY Athletic Conference play. The victory rounds out the regular season for the Beavers, finishing with a 12-6 overall record and a 7-5 mark in conference play.
The Beavers took the match over the Cardinals in straight sets, 25-15, 25-8, 25-11.
Xhulio Myftari led the attack for CCNY finishing with a match-high 11 kills, three digs, and four service aces. Freshman
Jeffrey Celis registered a double-double, posting 15 aces and 18 assists. Freshman
Utpal Chand had six kills and three assists, while
Rahul Sharma tallied four kills and two digs.

Mohamed Elshary picked three solo blocks,
Edwin Fierros Gaytan ended with three aces and two digs, and
Tenzin Tsepak added a pair of kills.
The Beavers have clinched a spot in the 2022 CUNYAC Men's Volleyball Championship Tournament. They will host a First Round matchup on Tuesday, Apr. 5, at the Nat Holman Gymnasium against an opponent to be determined.
