Jamaica, NY - The City College of New York women's volleyball team swept York College on Tuesday night, 25-8, 25-10, and 25-12, on the road in CUNY Athletic Conference play.
With the win, the Beavers continue to build upon their best start to a season, boosting a 7-1 overall record and a flawless 3-0 in CUNY Athletic Conference play.
The Beavers were led by sophomore
Arianna Rivas, who tallied a match-high eight kills and three aces. Freshman
Aubrey Jones dished a match-high 13 assists to go with three aces. Sophomore
Bianka Catral added a match-high 11 aces, four kills, and two digs.

Serena Warner finished with a pair of blocks and two kills, while classmate
Viviana Alatorre added five digs and
Michelle Fernandez had four.
Next, the Beavers travel to take on the College of Saint Elizabeth on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 7:00 p.m.
