New York, NY - The City College of New York women's volleyball program orchestrated one of their best performances of the season on Friday night, The College at Old Westbury in five sets (24-26, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16, 15-9) for their fourth consecutive victory. The Beavers stretch their historic start to the season with the win, moving to 9-1 overall; their best start to a season in program history.
The Beavers had three players put up double-doubles in the win. Sophomore
Bianka Catral led CCNY with 16 kills, ten digs, and three aces. Sophomore
Arianna Rivas finished with 15 kills and 14 digs for her second double-double of the season. Freshman
Aubrey Jones tallied her fourth double-double of the season, adding 33 assists and 11 digs.

Nila Tom set a new career-high with seven total blocks, along with five kills. Sophomore
Viviana Alatorre piled up a career-high 27 digs, a match-high seven aces, and five assists.
Next, the Beavers return to competition on Wednesday, Sept. 28, on the road against Bard College at 7:00 p.m.
