New York, NY - The City College of New York men's soccer team fell short on Saturday, falling on the road to Baruch College, 7-1, in CUNYAC play. The loss drops the Beavers to 1-9-1 overall and 1-4-1 in league play.
The Bearcats scored five unanswered goals inside the first 60 minutes of the match.
Sophomore
Hazim Naji netted the lone goal for the Beavers in the 62nd minute.
Baruch closed out the match with two insurance goals to pull out a 7-1 victory.'
Junior
Mikhael Torres started the first half in goal for the Beavers, making six saves while allowing four goals. In the second half, sophomore
Emerson Ayala played in goal, making six saves.
Next, the CCNY men's soccer team returns home on Wednesday, Oct. 18, for their final regular season match against Hunter College at 7:00 p.m.
