Kings Park, NY - The City College of New York men's cross country team competed on Saturday at the SJLI Invitational, hosted by St. Joseph University Long Island at Sunken Meadow State Park.
In the 8K race, junior
Edy Morales led the Beavers with a top-50 finish, placing 43rd overall in a time of 31:14.7. Junior
Christian Rasmussen crossed the line in a time of 33:08.5. Freshman
Toufique Mahmud was CCNY's third-top finisher with a personal-best time of 38:20.6.
Senior
Damian Rivera finished in a time of 41:14.4. Freshmen
Mamodou Sillah (45:45.5) and
Chengshui Zhu (46:59.6) rounded out the team.
Next, the CCNY cross country program closes out the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Medgar Evers College Legacy Invitational.
