Riverdale, NY – The City College of New York men's cross country team placed fourth overall at the 2025 CUNY Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, held Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park.
As a team, the Beavers finished fourth overall, behind Hunter College, Baruch College, and Brooklyn College, and ahead of Medgar Evers College and Lehman College.
Freshman Jared Bravo led the Beavers with a strong performance, finishing 17th overall in 33:35.4, followed closely by senior Trent Santoro, who took 18th place in 33:45.3. Sophomore Justice Omoruyi (30th, 36:03.1), Daniel Gonzalez (31st, 36:07.6), and Tristan Hyltan (33rd, 37:15.9) rounded out CCNY's top five scorers.
Also competing for the Beavers were Chengwei Bao (34th, 37:31.3), Henry Robles (40th, 39:05.9), Hisham Khan (44th, 40:16.5), Muniru Abdulai (55th, 46:59.4), and Mohammed Miraj (60th, 48:39.0).
Next, CCNY will compete at the ECAC North Championships on Saturday, November 8.
