Riverdale, NY - The City College of New York men's cross country program competed on Sunday at the inaugural Medgar Evers Legacy Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park, placing third overall.
The Beavers garnered three top-ten finishes. Freshman
Gian-Carlo Riehl took third overall in a time of 31:51.8. Senior
Edy Morales finished fourth overall, clocking a time of 32:17.2. Freshman
Toufique Mahmud ran to a sixth-place finish, netting a personal-best time of 35:05.7.
Senior
Damian Rivera ran a time of 44:41.7, while freshman
Riley Mercedes completed the course in a time of 58:51.1.
Next, the CCNY cross country will compete at the 2023 CUNY Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday, Oct. 29, at Van Cortlandt Park.
