Riverdale, NY - The City College of New York men's cross country program competed on Sunday at the 2023 CUNY Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, turning in a fourth-place team finish.

In all, CCNY had four runners placed within the top 15. Freshman Gian-Carlo Riehl led the pack for the Beavers with a 10th-place finish, running 

30:56.7. Edy Morales produced an 11th place finish, clocking a time of 30:58.0. Freshman Toufique Mahmud crossed the line 14th overall, running a personal-best time of 32:20.2. Junior Christian Rasmussen took 15th overall, posting a time of 32:21.6.

Senior Damian Rivera completed his final cross country race for the Beavers, running a time of 42:03.0. Freshman Chengshui Zhu ran a time of 46:57.9, while freshman Mamodou Sillah posted a time of 52:02.8.

After the meet, Head Coach Joey Benson and the cross country honored graduating seniors Edy Morales and Damian Rivera for their hard work and dedication to the program.
