Brooklyn, NY - The City College of New York men's basketball team fell in their 2023-24 season opener at Pratt in overtime, 101-98.

Junior Yassine Sakhi led the Beavers with a game-high 28 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Junior Chris Stone posted 25 points, six rebounds, and four assists in his debut for the Beavers. Sophomore Michael Bowman notched 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.


Sophomore Ricardo Dixon finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Junior Edward Beqiri collected eight points and four rebounds in 21 minutes of play, while sophomore Kayson Dinkins posted 11 points, five rebounds, and three steals off the bench. 

The Beavers return to play on Saturday, Nov. 11, on the road against Maritime College at 1:00 p.m.
