New York, NY - In a Holiday Season matchup, The City College of New York men's basketball team defeated Houghton University at home, 86-82, in non-conference action at Nat Holman Gymnasium.
The victory lifts the Beavers to 7-4 overall.
For CCNY, four players scored in double figures, including three recording a double-double in the contest. Sophomore
Ricardo Dixon had 18 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Junior
Chris Stone tallied a team-high 21 points, along with 11 rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Senior
Yassine Sakhi posted 15 points, ten assists, and four rebounds.

Edward Beqiri finished with 17 points, three rebounds, and four assists. Junior
Jordan Williams closed out the afternoon with a season-high nine points, four rebounds, four assists, and a block. Freshman
Denzel Reynoso added a season-high six points and two steals.
CCNY had their second-best offensive performance of the season, shooting 50.7 percent in the contest.
Next, the CCNY men's basketball program closes out the 2023 calendar year at home on Friday, Dec. 29, against Misericordia University at 2:00 p.m.
