New York, NY—The City College of New York men's soccer team picked up its second straight victory on Wednesday afternoon, shutting out John Jay College in CUNY Athletic Conference play, 1-0.
The Beavers improve to 2-5-3 with the win and 2-0-1 in league play.
After a scoreless first half, the Beavers broke the stalemate in the second half when senior
Adonijah Brooks scored the eventual game-winner in the 71st minute off an assist from junior
Aliou Ndiaye.

CCNY held the advantage in the shot attempts, outshooting the Bloodhounds 16-8. Both teams were even in corner kicks with five apiece.
