New York, NY - On Tuesday, The City College of New York men's volleyball team closed out the regular season, falling to Lehman College in four sets at home.
With the loss, the Beavers finish the regular season with an 8-12 overall record, while going 5-9 in conference.
Prior to the start, the CCNY men's volleyball program honored their senior class of 2024 members, Jeffery Celis, David Reyes Galvez, Edwin Fierros Gaytan, and Antonio Oliveira-Nurse.
Sophomore Prabodh KC led the Beavers with 10 kills, five digs, and three aces. Sophomore Cristian Canela produced 10 kills, two digs, and three blocks. Freshman Brandon Green finished with eight kills, five digs, and four blocks. Junior Reng Chen posted six kills, seven digs, and two assists. Junior Antonio Oliveira-Nurse ended the evening with five kills and two blocks. David Galvez Reyes dished 29 assists, eight digs, and three aces.
Next, the Beavers will begin postseason play, taking on John Jay College in the First Round of the 2024 CUNYAC Championship Tournament.
